00:00 Ashes To AshesSwapping the Ford Cortina for an Audi Quattro, DCI Gene Hunt rolls up his sleeves and embraces the 80s in the sequel to the critically acclaimed and phenomenally popular Life On Mars. Set in 1981, everyone's favourite politically-incorrect cop, flanked by his faithful sidekicks Ray Carling and Chris Skelton, turns his attentions to taking on the 'southern nancy' criminal scum in London. But he does not expect to meet DCI Alex Drake who is battling with her own sense of dislocation. Ripped from her current world of sexual equality and respect, she finds herself faced with the boorish Gene in a two-tone, New Romantic, 80s London with a soundtrack of Adam Ant, Roxy Music and The Human League ringing in her ears. Where is she really from and what does she have to do with Sam Tyler? Frustrated by each other's stubbornness, the friction between Alex and Gene heats up. However, as the two titans collide, it becomes apparent there is more than just a professional tension emerging.

07:55 Monkey ThievesEven Jaipur's monkeys are affected by the global credit crunch. As money becomes tight for the human residents of Jaipur, free handouts to the temple monkeys become ever more scarce. This situation is exacerbated by the fact that the Galta Gang has been so successful that their numbers have burgeoned to over one hundred individuals. When this happens, macaque troops undergo a process called fission: the group splits into two. This is because the territory can no longer support such a massive troop.

23:00 The WhistleblowersWhen public injury lawyer Ben Graham?s latest client commits suicide despite winning a hefty compensation, his conscience kicks into action. What use is defending people hurt in the name of profit, if those responsible will never admit to it or change their ways? In a bid for genuine justice he sets up shop with his girlfriend and colleague, Alisha Cole, and together they embark on a new career: assisting the most unlikely of heroes to take huge personal risks, and speak out in a world of profiteering and corruption, political and corporate mismanagement, negligence and greed. Each case is a moral minefield. For bravery is one thing, but having the wisdom to choose the right path ? and the strength of character to keep to it ? is the hardest part of all. As they rub up against rogue elements in business and government, Ben and Alisha find that integrity comes at a heavy cost. From pharmaceutical fraudulence to immigration issues, bribery in the education system to environmental hazards, the storylines are as slick and polished as the production values in this high-speed, high-stakes ethical thriller. Would you have the courage to tell the truth, no matter what the consequences?
